About UNITT

University Network for Innovation and Technology Transfer, UNITT organizes network among university, research institute, TLO and their supporters. On its network basement, UNITT promotes communications, cultivating tech transfer experts and making survey, research and proposal in order to encourage higher education to expand activity of industry-academia collaboration including IP management, tech transfer, joint research and entrepreneur more effectively.

Through the network activity among academia and global activity of these industry-university collaborations, UNITT supports the academia to contribute to build future enriched society and to develop industry.

Major Activities
  • Organaize network to promote effectively the activity of industry-academia collaboration including IP Management, Tech Transfer, Joint Research and Startups.
  • Exchange of information, investigation, make research and so on.
  • Workshops and seminars to develop tech transfer experts
  • Disseminate information through publication of UNITT-Survey, Association journal and other periodicals
  • Enhance communication, exchange, and cooperative relations with other related organizations not only in Japan and worldwide.
  • Consult and answer inquiry from UNITT members concerning industry-academia collaboration including IP management, tech transfer and so on.
